Fences and decks in Delta.
Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta. Open ground and wind off the water mean a fence has to be built stiffer than it would be in the city.

A lot of Delta is flat and open, and near the water the wind has nothing to slow it down. A 6 ft fence acts like a sail. So we set posts deeper, tighten the post spacing and stiffen the frame, and the fence stays put.
Our Ladner job was a back yard on the water with nothing between it and the wind. We ran a 6 ft cedar privacy fence down both sides of the lot and left the end toward the water open, so the owners kept their view.
We also build gates, decks, railings and retaining walls in Delta, in cedar, pressure treated wood, vinyl, composite, aluminum and chain link.
