Fences, gates and arbors in Coquitlam.

A lot of Coquitlam yards slope, so the fence has to follow the ground and the base has to stay dry. We build for that.

When a fence runs down a slope, the boards end up in the dirt and rot from the bottom. On our Coquitlam job we set a row of landscape ties first to level the base, then built a 6 ft cedar fence with a lattice top that follows the slope of the brick path.

At the front we built a cedar arbor over the entry stairs with an arched cedar gate under it. We went back a year later. The fence had gone a soft grey and nothing had moved.

We also build decks, railings and retaining walls in Coquitlam, in cedar, pressure treated wood, vinyl, composite, aluminum and chain link.
