Rooftop deck stripped and restained
A weathered rooftop cedar deck with a downtown view, cleaned, sanded and restained in a warm brown.
The problem
The cedar boards had gone grey and the old finish was peeling. The owners liked the deck and did not want to replace it.
What we built
Furniture off, boards cleaned and brightened, sanded where the old finish had failed, then a penetrating oil stain brushed on.
The result
The same deck, looking years younger, with the view it always had.
