Rooftop composite deck with glass railing
A covered rooftop deck in grey composite with a frameless glass railing, so nothing gets in the way of the view.
The problem
A rooftop deck off the top floor with a tired surface and a railing that blocked the view. It had to drain properly, take wind, and stay light on the structure.
What we built
Grey composite boards laid to drain, with a black aluminum post and glass panel railing around the edge. The cedar soffit above was left as it was.
The result
A deck that disappears under the furniture and a railing you look through, not at.
